Is It Mandatory to Install Winter Tires?
What is a Winter Tire A winter tire is a type of tire that allows vehicles to travel in challenging natural conditions during winter months. The material of summer tires hardens in cold weather (below 7 degrees Celsius) and cannot grip the road. Therefore, it is necessary to use winter tires in snowy, slippery, and icy conditions. Winter tires grip the road easily thanks to their special tread patterns. Winter tires are made from a material called silica. This material is softer than others and increases the tire's grip. For this reason, winter tires grip the road more easily in cold weather below 7 degrees Celsius, and on slippery and icy roads. Are Winter Tires Mandatory?
