Monitoring Seat Occupancy Status of Service Vehicles Using Sensors
What is System Architecture?
Seat sensor devices and also sensor networks have been a system used and researched in both industrial and academic fields in recent years. Remote monitoring systems have been designed using sensor devices and networks. Thanks to this, the remote monitoring of seat occupancy status, especially in school buses, using sensor devices is now provided in the most effective ways today.
What are Weight Sensor Sensors?
Especially today, the systems for remote monitoring and tracking of seat occupancy in service school vehicles with seat sensor devices generally consist of three parts. These parts are usually as follows; weight sensor sensors, GSM module systems, and a central server. The weight sensor sensors, which are generally the first part of systems with seat sensors, are laid inside the seating areas of bus seats. The function of weight sensor sensors is to detect a load when it exceeds a certain weight in a short time. The sensor sensors are used to determine the weight of the load in kilograms in a short time. Weight sensor sensors are generally composed of a switch mechanism. The second part of the systems is usually the GSM module, which receives all the data from the weight sensor sensors and sends it to remote central servers via GPRS. These devices have both GSM and GPS features.
