What Are the Symptoms of Lung Cancer?
Lung cancer, which unfortunately ranks first among the deadliest cancers worldwide, is a rapidly spreading cancer type. The early symptoms of lung cancer, such as mild fever, constant weakness, and fatigue, are often overlooked as simple ailments by many, which increases the spread rate of the cancer. Symptoms like bloody phlegm and a persistent cough, which are signs of lung cancer, appear as the disease progresses.
How Is Lung Cancer Detected?
The diagnosis of lung cancer can even be made with a simple chest X-ray. Therefore, individuals at risk for lung cancer (those who smoke, have a family history of lung cancer, or are at risk due to working conditions) should have regular chest X-rays annually.
