It is necessary to choose flowers appropriately. Both the place where the flower will be kept and the purpose of gifting should be considered when making a choice.

For instance, while daisies and chrysanthemums are the most suitable choices for wreaths, large, showy flowers are appropriate for villa-type houses. For flowers to be kept in small houses or rooms, or flowers sent to hospitals, care should be taken to ensure they have small vases or pots and that light colors are chosen. For visitors, glass vases and flowers with sand instead of soil are often preferred.
