In cases and situations where all share prints use watermarked paper, companies are obliged to use both their own watermarks and the watermarked papers determined and provided by the stock exchange. At these stages, companies are obliged to take measures to prevent the sensitive papers they procure for their own needs from being used by others for purposes other than the specific and initial purposes of their share prints. They are also obliged to comply with the provisions regarding the return of all paper deliveries and some materials used in printing, as mentioned in the previous articles. All companies that print shares submit samples of shares with the same characteristics in their prints to the relevant units of the stock exchange, along with a document containing the number of coupons and their serial numbers. All companies whose shares are traded on the stock exchange must comply with these notifications in the most appropriate manner from their publication dates.
Purpose and Scope of Printing Operations
In the field of share printing, all shares that are not printed in accordance with the form requirements and the relevant notification provisions must be replaced with shares printed in accordance with the notification and its provisions. At these stages, all concerned shareholders cannot benefit from all the exceptions recognized by the second paragraph of the first article of the notifications regarding the form and requirements of shares. Companies whose shares start trading on the stock exchange after these notifications come into effect are also required to comply with the form requirements of all shares. The primary purpose of these notifications is to establish the fundamental rules to be followed in all transactions related to share printing, as published in the Official Gazette, and to include necessary regulations regarding certain special matters and provisions for all companies whose shares are traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
